Launched in 2013, Move started as a mobile, flexible gym class experience. It was created to give members of the public a chance to try the classes that had previously only been available to long-term gym subscribers with expensive memberships. AJ wanted to create and trial new types of fitness classes as well as give gym classes a new twist, taking them to new and exciting locations such as rooftops overlooking St Paul’s Cathedral, Battersea Power Station and secret gardens across the city.
Move PopUp Gym
"As well as yoga and Pilates expect their signature classes ‘Look Hot Naked’, a body-conditioning tone-up session and ‘Move’, a dance class of its namesake given that the founder’s career started on the West End stage. Definitely one for the Jazz-handed!.. With prices starting at £10 for a class, it’s as kind on the purse as it is on the diary… We say non-committal classes are the way forward" ’
Move has gone on to become a leading provider of bespoke dance, fitness and entertainment services. They have worked with corporate and private clients to provide tailor made experiences with a range of fun and vibrant activities and acts such as entertaining popup cinema crowds and leading dance-offs at parties, team-building exercises for corporate away days and wellness services for businesses.
"We booked Move to come in to our London office for an activity with our team of around 20 people. They did an amazing job getting everyone up and dancing together - it was a great way to mix things up after a day sitting in meetings. The team were fun and understood how to engage a diverse group of people and bring them into the activity. We are still talking about how much we enjoyed it some months on and would heartily recommend them to anyone looking for something that will bring their team together on an away day or in the comfort of their own office." ’
Richard Allan, Vice President, Facebook
Move caught the imagination of the media around the world, filmed by NBC News for the Today show and hired by Adidas, Stylist magazine, Race for Life, the prestigious Royal College of Physicians and social media giant Facebook amongst others to bring bespoke popup fitness and dance to their clients and employees.
"Move provided the perfect instructor for the job. Nicolette was energetic and rallied the troops together after our race for a deep stretch and warm down - it was essential to have a bubbly personality as people get shy within groups and you need one confident instructor. I heard one lady commend, So that’s what a proper stretch feels like. Thank you!" ’

"We hired AJ to choreograph a 80s/90s dance video for my mate's hen party and I can't praise him enough! We all had tons of fun. We didn't stop laughing all the way through and it left us on a real high afterwards. AJ's energy is infectious and he has an amazing knack of being able to bring even the most shy of people out of their shell.
Would do it again in a flash. Ahh, Push it!!!!" ’

Make sure your wedding dance goes off without a hitch, whether you want a simple waltz or something funny and unexpected. AJ and his brilliant team of friendly, talented teachers will come to your home or a nearby studio and make sure you are confident, happy and ready for the big day.
"Aj choreographed a wedding dance not only for me and my husband but also a bride and bridesmaid dance for my five bridesmaids and me to do as a surprise for my husband on the day. He was completely amazing! One of my bridesmaids was in Hong Kong and the other one in Edinburgh so he made a video teaching them the moves. Some of the girls are quite shy but he made it so fun. He made it look cool rather than cringe and it was really easy to learn while still looking choreographed. We couldn’t have asked for a better teacher! Everyone at the wedding, including my husband, absolutely loved it. AJ applied the same level of dedication to choreographing the bride and groom first dance and it was also amazing. I loved working with AJ because he is so professional and accommodating to any ideas. He really wants to make your ideas work and will do all he can to make it come to life. I want to get married again just so that I can work with him once more! Cannot recommend him enough!" ’
